The first ever Ubisoft Forward on 13th July was filled with exciting news! We had a sneak peek into London’s resistance in Watch Dogs Legion. We visited the shores of ninth-century England and watched Eivor do battle in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla while an exciting new villain made his grand debut in Far Cry 6. But amongst these fresh reveals and announcements from the show, our studio also had a bit of pre-show fun with our very own local program lineup. We’ve put together some highlights, from the pre-show all the way through to the end, to help get you caught up with our #LifeAtUbi. Read on to find out more!
MYSTERY BOX REVEAL: 12:00AM – 12:05AM
Prior to Ubisoft Forward, we sent a huge goodie box to the doorsteps of everyone in our studio with one catch – to hold off unveiling the mystery within until event day.
Finally, at the stroke of midnight, we kicked off our local program with a live studio unboxing to answer the burning question on everyone’s mind. What was in the box? Check out the goodies below – a studio-exclusive painting done by our Senior Art Director Kobe, one giant Ubisoft-branded plush pillow along with a pair of socks for warm toasty toes and a box of healthy Munchies to last us through a night to come.
LIVE DRAWING & DEV INTERVIEWS: 12:05AM – 1:00AM
Next up, we had Senior Concept Artist Guang Yu take us through an impressive live drawing process of Eivor from Assassin's Creed Valhalla. With just under an hour to work with, we watched him whip that pen into action as our dev panel dove into a multitude of topics involving collaboration with some of our sister studios Chengdu and Philippines, our development over the years and of course, all things Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

RAINBOW SIX SIEGE TOURNEY: 1:00AM – 2:00AM
We also held our first ever internal Rainbow Six Siege tourney to get the pre-show adrenaline up with special Ubisoft Singapore Twitch hosts, Albert and Kenny.
Each team consisted of individuals from differing job families with a common denominator – the fire to win the tourney. As the night went on, our teams went head to head in competing for the title of Siege champions with surprising results. Amongst the countless headshots and wrecked drones, the blue team managed to snag the title of Siege champions and ultimately emerged victorious during the night.
GLOBAL PRE-SHOW + UBISOFT FORWARD + POST-SHOW: 2:00AM

That’s it, our very first Ubisoft Forward done and dusted!
